March 5, 2013 – Cosgrove Law Group, LLC filed an arbitration claim with AAA on behalf of our client, Dr. George Goodman, against Logan College of Chiropractic (“Logan”) located in Chesterfield, Missouri. The arbitration claim asserts that Logan breached an employment contract with our client, their former President, relating to his retirement benefits. The arbitration claim also asserts that Logan wrongfully terminated our client and made negligent representations to him prior to that termination related to his employment and retirement benefits. The arbitration claim requests money damages and attorneys fees for our client.
In October of 2012, Steven Roberts, Logan’s Chair of the Board of Trustees, stated of our client: “President Goodman’s leadership has been invaluable to Logan, and his passion and commitment to our mission have been steadfast. On behalf of the board and Logan, I want to express our deep gratitude for his service and outstanding leadership. Logan and the field of chiropractic are better off because of Dr. Goodman.” From 1992 to 2012, Dr. Goodman nearly doubled enrollment and expanded Logan’s endowment from $250,000 to $25 million.
